WHATEVER IT TAKES TO OPTIMISE RICH AND CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK
Typically combining a range of methodologies
Most of our studies use some form of interactive forum at their core. . .
(groups, mini groups, quartets, triads etc)
Supplemented with a variety of alternative methodologies, designed to best meet
the objectives of the study
Given our particular interest and specialism in working with women, much of our work adopts a more collaborative and evolving approach.
Some recent examples include:
Pre tasking 'dieting' women to create collages to represent their food world
(images, words etc)
Pre group telephone chat with students to break down some barriers and
provide a detailed, individual context
Post depth blogging over Xmas period to share eating experiences and attitudes prior to January dieting season
Development of ideas with respondents post groups via email
Recce of women's wardrobes, handbags and bathroom cabinets to help unravel some more 'private' choices and explore some anomalies (eg; 3 x half empty shampoo containers because 'it takes too long to get the dregs out. . .')
Virtual anthropology exercise. . .audit of relevant 'blogs'
